Dunukofia Local Government Area has commenced the digitalization of its services as part of efforts to improve efficiency, transparency and the quality of service delivered to residents.

The digital transformation covers revenue collection and payments, permit applications, staff and administrative records, as well as other services provided by the local government.

Through the new system, residents and businesses will be able to access council services more conveniently, complete applications faster and make payments through more secure and transparent channels. The initiative is expected to reduce delays, limit unnecessary paperwork and improve accountability in the management of public resources.

The digitalization of staff and administrative records will also support better record-keeping, faster retrieval of information and more effective coordination among departments within the local government.

For members of the public, the initiative means fewer repeated visits to council offices, shorter processing times and easier access to information concerning applications, permits, payments and other local government services.

The development reflects Barrister Chijioke Clement Ozumba's commitment to using technology to make governance more accessible, responsive and people-centred.

Residents, business owners and other stakeholders are encouraged to support the initiative and make use of the digital platforms as they become available.

Further information on how to access the digital services, including approved payment channels and application procedures, will be communicated to the public through the official channels of Dunukofia Local Government.
